Is that a bidet in the bathroom? If so, that's the largest I've ever seen. Or is it a foot bath or some kind?

It isn't a bidet, but a 3/4 (or 1/2) tub. Women used these for quick clean-ups.

In no way is this kitchen tasteless. It was impeccably updated to retain the era in which this beauty was built. This mansion is a wonderful reminder of an day gone by in which people enjoyed craftsmanship and were eager to invest in it.
